(IAM)WARFACE is an Electro Rock Band formed in Brighton and London in 2016, consisting of Matt Warneford, Lou Matthews, Tom Howe, Mike Smith and Adam Stanley. The name is a metaphor for their own style of bombastic high-energy music. (IAM)WARFACE have taken the pop route but they keep it dangerous with a fusion of 80’s style vocals, abstract guitars, moody layered synth riffs and pounding drum beats. (IAM)WARFACE have been influenced by many peers such as Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Kasabian, Muse, Big Black Delta, Nero, Queens of the Stone Age, Tears For Fears, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Black Keys and MGMT.
HAWXX are Anna, Hannah, Jess and Iman. We’re into things like funny voices, feminism, booze, head banging and knitting. We originally hail from Greece, Wales, England and Bahrain and we found each other in the trenches of Earlsfield, South London.
HAWXX make metal laced- heavy rock music about getting sacked from your job, the deterioration of the NHS, giving the finger to institutionalised religion and how loves a bitch.
Expect soaring guitars, phat bass lines, massive drum fills and intricate harmonies and a wall of sound to break down barriers and bring people together.
“The single is a mammoth slice of powerful rock and for a debut it shows this ambitious band mean business. Their no-nonsense approach is full of attitude and the band aim to shake up the predominantly male-dominated rock and metal scene” – Rock Regeneration
‘HAWXX blow us away with their frenzied rock anthems and immense riotous energy. With rip-roaring riffs and thunderous beats, all delivered with an utterly immersive charisma, the London band mark themselves out as definite ones to watch.” – Mari Lane, Get in Her Ears
BLACK TREE VULTURES:
South Coast Hard Rockers – Recently described by Classic Rock Magazine as “Manly No-Bull**** beef with a modern edge.” Have made headway across the U.K. and European music scene. Playing their original music on what is described as “The Never Ending Tour” across countless cities including London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The band consists of four members, Celyn Beynon (Lead Vocals), Aaron “Ham” Hammersley(Lead Guitar), Ched “Cheese” Cheeseman (Bass) and Jonno Smyth (Drums) have managed to create a raw sound that certainly screams power.
They have clocked many miles on the road and hit the stage with the likes of The Darkness, Phil Cambell And The Bastard Sons And Devilskin. The roar from the crowd cements that although the band in its current line-up is less than a year old, the Black Tree Vulture Family are on the rise.
Black Tree Vultures currently have two E.P’s out to date, Sanity isn’t Perfect (2018) and The BRAND NEW self-titles EP in 2019 (Black Tree Vultures) however with only a handful of songs actually recorded, the band’s setlist is crammed full of yet to be recorded original material that the fans have already picked up and singing back to the boys on the stage.
At the E.P Launch in April 2019, Black Tree Vultures sold out to full capacity within ten days of the announcement, furthermore releasing 50 more tickets due to high demand then selling them within a further 10 minutes!!!
