Hire one of our rooms for your birthday and you get a space of your own, your own door and our bar, so the night is all about you and your guests.
Whether it’s an 18th for your closest mates, a 30th with a DJ and a dance floor, or a 50th that brings the whole family together, we have a room that fits. We’re an over 18s venue, so every guest will need photo ID on the night.

How many guests can you fit for a birthday party?
The Green Room holds up to 45, the Balcony Bar up to 125 and the Live Lounge up to 250. The whole building is licensed for 450.
Can under 18s come to a birthday party at Canvas?
No. Canvas is over 18s unless an event says otherwise, and photo ID is required.
Which days can I hire a room for my birthday?
We take private hire bookings any day, subject to availability. Our club nights run on Fridays and Saturdays, so get in touch with your date and we’ll tell you what’s free.
Do you offer food for birthday parties?
Yes. We have buffet and canapé options to suit your budget.
Can we have a DJ or live music?
Yes. The Live Lounge has a stage, a full touring-spec PA and a professional lighting rig, so it’s ready for a DJ or band. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire.
How much does it cost to hire a room for a birthday?
